“Invite users to Gmail, if your 25MB attachment bounce back” Google says

Nowadays I send many larger attachments for work related. Due to the maximum attachment restrictions in many email servers, we ended up splitting and send it in multiple mails. Alternatively, I use getdropbox.com to upload larger attachment and share it with my users. The recent enhancement of “up’ing the maximum attachment size to 25MB in Gmail is great help. As usual, many other big time email providers will be forced to increase the size soon.

“With Gmail, you can send and receive messages up to 25 megabytes (MB) in size.
Please note that you may not be able to send larger attachments to contacts who use other email services with smaller attachment limits. If your attachment bounces, you should invite them to Gmail.”

Here is what I tested, and sent a 22.5MB compressed file to my Google Apps account.
